Last weekend my project partner Andreas Wiedemann and I participated in the CLIPS seminar at the intentional community Ökodorf Siebenlinden. For me it was the second time that I stayed in this rural community. The workshop participants came from different walks of life, and were involved in various stages of community building. In spite of the dense program it was a very pleasant experience, and we enjoyed our stay there.

The Community Research Project is an initiative that wants to develop a greater understanding of the principles of community and create more awareness of the experience and knowledge gained by long-term intentional communities all over the world.

The COMMUNITY RESEARCH PROJECT is a private, non-academic and independent enterprise by SUSANNE RATKA.
This project is scientifically accompanied by Prof. Shabnam Mousavi of Max Planck Institute for Human Development, Berlin. The selection criteria, catalog of questions and interview procedures of the field study are based on objective scientific standards.
